| no current events | 2005-2016: Yes, we are still undead, which is not that bad. After all, we managed to celebrate our tenth anniversary.
Watching things from below can be interesting and inspiring (also so stay idle for the time being). Currently we do not see ourselves in the mood to compete with all the "wannabe" celebrations we see these days. Most of us also do not visit other celebrations, it's fine to rest in peace...at least for now. So stay tuned and be prepared for a possible resurgence of our team to kick *** once again. But don't expect anything, it might be that we prefer to stay undead... |

2004: The 2004 party was special in two ways: first off, it was our tenth anniversary (whooooooo!), and secondly, also the last one "planned" (for now ... ;-). When its founders organized their first "gathering" back in 1995, it was to celebrate the spirit of Halloween in its most basic form. Nowadays, the Halloween season is "marketed" throughout the country. Of course, it is great to see more & more people enjoying Halloween, however, some of us miss the days when it wasn't that "commercialized"...at least sometimes ;-).

2003: We were forced to change location virtually in the very last minute! This was beyond our control and we felt awfully sorry for that incident. We tried to make the best out of the situation, but we had to narrow down our expectations. Therefore we want to especially thank our guest who supported us in this difficult situation. Applause to you!
With your help we were still able to donate to Kinderkrebshilfe Wien (EUR 500)! Not as much as in the last years, but we are working for 2004: our 10th halloween party to present you an even better party than before: all new location, new crew members, new ideas! 2002:The party of superlatives - even bigger than last year´s! Happy people, a huge and lovely newly furbished clubatrium, great costumes and lots of fun. Around 650 people joined and danced until dawn was breaking.

2001: It was once again a major success! Great party, great costumes and lots of fun. More than 300 people joined us and celebrated all hallow´s eve together with us.
Great news due to the fact that we continue organizing our parties on a non-profit basis. As every year, net contributions were donated to St. Anna Kinderspital/Kinderkrebshilfe Wien. |

2000: It was a celebration of the New Millennium and a big party! We did not dare to expect even more people than in 1999, however, much more scary people than ever before joined the party. Costumes and athmosphere were great as always!

1999: Since the damn house is still there, we finally failed to burn it down. Moreover, we got ourselves fired by the boy scouts. Therefore we had to find another place to burn down.
Lucky enough we found ZU-GA-BE in Vienna. We asked the boss of ZU-GA-BE if we were allowed to burn down his house and he replied with a strict "NO" (Question: Is he a relative of the chief of the boy scouts? ;-) As a consequence, we (officially ;-) gave up our obsession to burn our environment. As a result for the future, we will have anything but normal halloween parties. 1998: Unfortunately no big news regarding our fire obsession! Our mission became more difficult since they got a fire extinguisher! It is very difficult to become a successful firestarter!

1995: In the beginning we - the original Hallow-brunn crew - gathered to burn something. We thought that burning the home of the boy scouts would be a nice idea. Since the chief of the boy scouts forbade us to set their house on fire, we decided to have anything but a normal Halloween party. We stayed in tradition with the costumes as a primary reason to avoid neighbours from visiting and lodging complaints - i.e.: we were all disguised! > View entire gallery on flickr
